My eyesight is not what it used to be and I was wondering if there is any way I could increase the size of the flashing speed camera icon on my tomtom one xl, so that I could read the speed more clearly. |

The size is set by the TomTom Software and cannot be altered. Which database are you using? The Speed Zoned one coupled with our voice warnings gives an audible ' GATSO FIFTY' type warning which may help? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Blankfire.
Try using the "switch off" map function. (in the safety preferences menu). It'll give you slightly bigger MPH text, Larger turn instructions and also a slightly bigger POI warning.
HTH.

You CAN now increase the size very slightly (24x24 pixels instead of the standard 22x22)
Member Gerry_C has made some very readable alternative icons for the cameras ( see HERE for details)
Combine those with the verbal warnings that Darren mentioned (but he forgot the link to them, it's HERE!) and you should be real happy. |

It wouldn't, I assumed wrongly that you were using ours. If you are using TomTom's then the size of the icon's is but one of your problems! Their database has more holes than a collander _________________ Darren Griffin |
