Hi Forum
Long time since i started a topic!
My old navman has finally died [USB port fell off the motherboard! Still works - no way of charging battery ]
I want to return to tomtom, How I miss the ability to 'avoid part of route' options. The 510/520's are a little out of my price range.
So I'm going for the One XL.
Anyone have any opinions either way?
Thanks,

If you want navigation and no extra bells and whistles, the One "XL" would be my choice.
Avoid the One "3rd edition". |

Thanks for the fast response
Was just pondering if it's worth investing an extra £30 for the 520 ?
Tomtom 520 UK & Ireland - £199
TomTom One XL UK & Ireland - £169
Thoughts?
Thanks again,

If you want Hands free for the phone and the mp3 player, FM transmitter then go with the 520, if you don't need or value these options stick with the XL it is a credible navigation unit without too many bells and whistles - Mike |

Thanks for the replies - Certainly something very valid to think about.
I suspect I will go with the 520 ultimately. I was toying getting an mp3 for the car so this seems like a good choice.
Now I just gotta purchase a years worth of pgps camera subs!
I miss that £2 a month thing.
Thanks again A superb forum with great resources.
