I wonder if somebody could point me to a thread which describes how to install the PGPS camera databases on a TT720 either using Home V2 (not the older versions) or directly using XP?
I looked but could only find references to the older 1.x software (the menus of which are slightly different).
Many thanks. |

Use Windows Explorer, in exactly the same way as with previous versions of Tom Tom devices.
See how you get on with this. It doesn't mention the 720, but it IS the same procedure.
If you get in a state, come back for guidance.
HAVE YOU ALREADY DONE A BACKUP USING WINDOWS EXPLORER? If not, do so before doing anything else. _________________ Dennis

Use Home 1,6 if you really must install POI files using Home, Home version 2 does not work for doing this.
If all you have available to you is Home 2 then I suggest you look at using the traditional Windows Explorer method to install POI files, for a start it is considerably more reliable, you can find some instructions under #4 on the FAQ page Here - Mike |
