hello
i'm new to this site
i have a uk 2000 range rover the map disc is for 2000/2 and says navteq on the box, but the disc in the machine is a copy.
i have been reading and the system i have in the boot of my car is the same as the bmw. the guy called bmw330 on this site put a link for upgade of the os but its from a site in the usa and also for the x5 http://www.x5world.com/articles/all-bmw/navigation/9458-bmw-navigation-system-faq.html
on this site it shows the same unit thats in my car MK111 system
does anyone know how to update the os would i be able to do the same as the bmw ??? |

Because your RR is a P38 version it uses the earlier BMW manufactured system and you should be able to use the same procedure. Later post 2002 variants models used a specific system designed for Land Rover although it also used Navteq mapping.
For map discs themselves, you can buy direct from the Navteq shop at www.navigation.com . _________________ Darren Griffin |

can some one please post an idiot's guide to up grading my os system and also where to get the up-grade disc from?
also can anyone tell me how much better the system will be if its up-graded.
Has anyone upgraded a p38's satnav yet???? |
