Hi, downloaded the latest file for my Garmin i3, and it is now warning me of 30mph imits when I'm only doing 27mph or thereabouts.

I've have not changed anything on my unit. I just download the file and poi load it each time. The load is in mph and feet.

Why is this happening.?

TIA

sorry - i missed that part!! Shocked Shocked

hmm... not sure, the only thing i can think of is if there has been a firmware update that changes the warnings to come on 10% lower than the speed limit?!

No probs. Smile
I'll wait and see what the next file does.

AFAIAA I have not changed anything on the i3 for quite sometime.
Last update was V9 maps.

I realise this is a silly question but where are you reading the 27mph from - the gps or the car speedo?

Also, (without knowing exactly how it works) were you speeding up/slowing down at the time? It may have decided to alert due to previous higher speeds or that you may exceed it at current acceleration. (If this is right, well done Garmin).

No plodding along at 27mph as I know of the cameras around here.
The 27mph is on the i3. My speedo is about 4mph higher than the gps.

Thanks Paul.

That was why I initially posted, to see if anyone else suffered the same problem. Guess they don't. Very Happy
