We will be flying to Zurich from Birmingham, probably over next Christmas, so I thought I would ask this question early!!!

Bearing in mind all the caveats about GPS/PDA in aircraft (lots of info on this site for that, so let's not get bogged down in that one!!), can anyone tell me (or show me how to get...) what countries we will overfly. My aim is to buy Vito's Maps of these countries so that I can add an extra level of interest during the flight. I will also be using the Vito map of Switzerland while we are there, so obviously I'll get that one, but what others will I need?

Depends on what French ATC are up to!

It could possibly be FRANCE/GERMANY/SWITZ

It could also be BELGIUM/GERMANY/SWITZ.

Austria is an outside possibility - but not likely.

Or even the weather. Recently a friend took a flight from Leeds Bradford to somewhere in the South of the country for a business meeting. To cut a long story short - he ended up overnight in a hotel in Newcastle!
