910 Light Sensor Problems

Hello

I have searched the forums and seen bits said about the 910's light sensor not working. Cant find a recent entry.

Just changed my old 700 for a 910 ( Dixons are selling them for £299 delivered with help from the hot deals site.)

Anyway, My light sensor doesn't seem to be working.
Got the ticks in the boxes and no joy..

Any Ideas? Or is it just a fault?

Cant find any info on the Tom Tom site, Thought I would try you for ideas before I struggle with Tom Tom support!!!

Firstly this feature only works with the device in the car dock it does nothing when docked at home or free from the mount.
Have you selected the following:
Change Preferences/ Brightness preferences "turn brightness down when dark" and is there a diference in the day/ night colour brightness levels - Mike
