Streetpilot C310/AppleMac/Virtual PC question

I have a Garmin C310 but have (up until now ) been unable to use any downloads ( POI) from this site as I use an AppleMac G4 and do not have access to a PC. However I have now installed a copy of Virtual PC so I can run microsoft Windows within the AppleMac.
Before I try to download speed camera info onto the C310 are there any known problems in using an emulator programme or is it just plain sailing. I must admit that the microsoft system is just unknown to me.

Hi, well I have not tried what you are wanting to do, however i do run a proggy called Virtual Machine (which is the same thing as you have just installed) under XP. This I use to trail software, os`s etc etc.

You should find that once your emulator is up and running you will be able
'to see' all your drives and proceed as normal. From VM i can send and import data from all external usb devices, all hard drives and card readers.

Good luck with the updates anyway.
