TomTom software for Evesham Nav-Cam 7500?

Hi there - thanks for taking the time to help.

I have just got an Evesham Nav-Cam 7500 with AA Navigator 2006 software loaded on it. However, the software leaves a little to be desired! I was wondering if it's possible to put TomTom software onto the device instead?

I believe it's running WinCE 4.2 TW (?).

By the time you've added the cost of TomTom you'd be better off selling it and buying a GO.

There are numerous methods for accessing the WinCE OS on some of these models but I haven't heard of anyone as yet cracking the 7500. That's not to say it isn't possible, just that it hasn't been done yet.

Yes you're probably right regarding the cost!

It was just a thought - mainly I'd just like to be able to 'fiddle' with the OS a bit. It seems like it has a reasonable amount of potential yet is limited to three apps.
