Nuvi 660 tweaking

Is it possible to alter how it works out a faster or shorter route. i.e. tinker with like/dislike/preference of roads. I went from Cambs to Glos yesterday, it tried to route me via a different way to what I'm used to and it was on the Fastest setting. When I done the detour thing it come up with me getting there 6 mins earlier on my normal route.
