GPSviewer and 236 slim not working ?

Hi all ( first post so please be gentle)

Got a MDA Vario II with WM5 installed, tom tom 6 also.

Had no problems getting this to work together but not having much luck with 'GPSviewer'

Can scan the ports and it finds the 236 but then when i open that port the screen scrolls some figures and then disapeares ?

Any ideas please ?

Welcome to the forum, do you have any other GPS related applications open when you try to use GPSViewer? go to start/ Settings system tab select memory then running programs tab, select stop all to clear the programs.
What does the short burst of text actually display in the window?

Cheers for the quick reply mike,,

Cleared any other functions running and tried again.

Finds the GPS on Com2

Go to open and the lower box fills with script very quickly and then disapeares

The viewer is no longer running

Not sure if i'm doing this right ? but the tom tom function works fine .
