Can the maps used on other TomTom models be used on the TT ONE ?

Not if the SD card says GO on it & none currently (officially) on the One V2.

My SD card is identified as TOMTOM DISK.

I have had problems transfering maps from two cards onto one. Am thinking of downloading a map to try but not impressed with the HOME software.

It identified my Application as Ver 5.15 and suggested upgrade to Ver 6.1. Once this is complete, a restart on the card shows old version everytime.

Not game to pay for map download for this to happen.

My apologies, thinking faster than typing - it is version 5.45
Map is 'australia-map' v568

I posted previous topic about multiple maps on SD cards hence this question.

BUT, I have now backed up my SD card to a 2GB card and copied the Australia map (renamed as Australiana) as fault finding mission.

Once again, the new map (Australiana) despite being exact copy of the original map, is NOT recognised by the TomTom.
