Hi,

I have got the speed camera's from Gb Plus Major Roads of We on my classic tomtom but I have to change from the original map of Great-Britain-Map to the new map to make them work.

Is there any way of transfering the safety caera POI to the old Great-Britain-Map ?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, simply add the POI files to the other map folder and set-up the warnings as required, this way you can have the cameras installed in both maps.
In the root of the memory card will be two map folders, one named GB the other GB_Plus the POI's need to be in the folder that contains the active (i.e. selected) map - Mike

The old map folder is called Great-Britain-Map but when I put the POI (ov2, bmp, ver files) into this folder from the new map GB_Plus they do not appear on the map or under the POI list????

Any other ideas ?

That's not too many.

After you've Switched Maps, do a Reset and see if reads the info.

Did you set up the Warn When Near in both Map Foilders?

Go to Change Preferences | Manage POI | Warn When Near.

This is a Menu for setting up Warnings when you are approaching Selected POI.

In Browse Map the Icons will only appear if they are Enabled.

In Browse Map Tap Options , make sure the Option Points of Interest is Ticked.

Then tap POI and Select which POI you wish to see on the Map.

Press Done twice.
