When I go geocaching with my Garmin Vista, I'm used to seeing the accuracy number (best it can get is 12ft) to help me determine how far off my position might be. Does the 910 display the accuracy anywhere? Do you guys use your TT's for geocaching or are they too unwieldy for this?

The inbuilt application is for road navigation as such it is not really suited for away from the highway activity, as it trys to keep to the roads (what it is intended for), there are a number of third part apps you can load to try, but to be perfectly honest the Go910 isn't realy suitable for walking with in my opinion, for the plug ins try HERE I have never seen a DOP on the display though - Mike |

Dunno for sure about the 910 but if its like most GPSs used for road navigation, it will try and lock to a road even if the positioning says its not on it, so I cant see they'd be any use for geocaching at all. Even if you have selected 'walking' to determine routes, it is still likely to assume you are walking along roads AFAIK. |
