Have had my tom tom one for about two weeks now and think it a excellent peice of kit. I have just bought a 512mb SD card for it, to enable me to add more functions, backed up the original card using the tom tom software supplied, onto my PC, but when i replace the card with the new one it will not restore at all. Am i missing something out,can it be done this way or do i need to get a card reader to transfer it. I hope its possible to transfer to a new card, as the one supplied has very little spare space on it.

no need to bother with that, just drag all the files from the original card into a folder on your PC then back to the new card, using the TT One as a card reader. (eg copy from with original card in, remove orignal card, put ne wonw in, copy back)
make sure you have 'show hidden files and folders' selected in folder view so as to get them all, and make sure when you drag then back you just drag the original files and not the folder they are in on the PC (so they end up back in the exact same place)
