Can I auto route and index Metroguide N America V5 on an I3.
I’ve searched numerous threads and googled but can’t find a definitive answer for version 5? |

Ive just read through all that information and my ears are now bleeding, there must be an easier way ? Is there no way to get hold of an SD card with the North American maps pre-installed ? _________________ Ignorance is no excuse ! |

all the american i3's came with a dvd or had the map already loaded so usa micro sd cards are not available....it really aint that hard to load city select usa or metroguide v4.01 onto a blank card .... _________________ *************************** |

indexed means you can use the address search function ie select town and then street no etc
routable means that the i3 will work out the route for you. If you load Metroguide using the Mapsource program it will only show you your present location.
If you use img2gps you can make Metroguide Routable(but not indexed) quite easily. You can load you own waypoints using EasyGps before you go and therefore you may not need Indexing. Indexing(which includes POI) is a little more tricky but it can be done again using img2gps
I hope this helps _________________ i3 2.70(went to 2.82,3.0,3.1 but downgraded) with V8 map on microSD card
Metroguide Europe V7 & V8 (routable and indexed)
Metroguide N America V6 (routable and indexed) |
