Hello,
I tried to download the California redlight cameras database, but regardless how many times I try, I always get 5225 kb file that cannot be opened by WinZip. Anyone else has the same problem? _________________ Daniel

No secret here! :-)
From the usual place:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Cameras
Under Navman, the last option: USA - redlight cameras in Southern California.
Have a look!
Cheers. _________________ Daniel

Didn't know that was there!!
Sometimes with downloads people report that the zip file looses it extension. If so just rename by adding the zip extension to the end and see if that works. _________________ Peter

Thanks Peter, but the extension is not the problem this time.
However, I found a way around it:
I downloaded the file under: Other
The file is there in both asc & csv format.
Still, someone from those responsible for the web should fix the file under NAVMAN, which is unusable.
Thanks. _________________ Daniel

Sorry had half replied to your post when i got called away.
Not having a Navman i was unaware that this was your GPS Equipment and that you were refering to this type of Camera File.
Anyway downloaded your zip file and unpacked apart from 2 text files and a HTML Help File there is nothing else there you will need to contact the keeper of the camera data base to investigate and repair the fault. |
