Is anyone using a Brodit pda mount in a Mercedes C-Class "Coupe" please?

I have an Ipaq 2210 running TTN5.
Obviously not a problem to get the holder for the Ipaq but i have a slight problem finding the right proclip mount for the car.

I would like to buy the Brodit PDA holder "powered by the cig lighter".
If i go to www.handnav.co.uk (as the official seller recommended by this site) and input the details for the car it only gives the option for a mount for the "C" class and no further choice for the coupe. If i then select the option available for an "04 on" model ( i haven't actually got the car yet..delivered in a few weeks and will be new) it only gives me the option of the "angled mount low" and that's not the one i want, i'd like the higher vent mount option.

If however i input that i have an older model it gives me the option of buying the high level mount!?!?

So i have 2 problems really.......... will the mount fit a coupe even though they only list C class and will the high mount fit a brand new coupe when it seems to suggest the only mount they do for a new model is the low one!

Sorry to go on....phew. Anyone got a MB C Class sports coupe and successfully using a Brodit high level/vent mount basically!

Hi,

Can I ask, what year is your C class?

You can search/view/buy all availbale Proclips and holders here:

http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodit/Brodit%20Proclip.asp

Item No. : 652824 seems a likely candidate, for a 2004 on MB C Class. Check the images on the search to see if it matches your dashboard.

Hope that helps, drop me a line if you need any advice,
Thanks
Bryson

Thanks for your help and the link Bryson. (I hadn't seen that website before).
My C Class will be a 2006 "66" plate as it gets delivered in September. I wanted to have the Brodit ready for when it arrives.
So you can see my problem is that i don't physically have a dashboard to compare the images to Laughing
Added to that the fact although mine is a C Class it'll be the sports coupe version and i'm not sure if the interior/fascia's/vents are the same as a new C Class saloon which i'm assuming is the MB model the Proclips listed are basically designed for.

Item no.652824 that you suggest is exactly what i'm after so unless i hear from anyone here in the next few days i think i'll order that one and cross my fingers for when the new car arrives.
Thanks again.

Hi S17elly,

Item No. : 652824 is listed as fitting 2006 model, so i would suspect that if you definatley know that your new '66' MB is a totally new shape altogether, then it will fit the current series.

Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum!
