I didn't realise unit recently that theres a difference between the routing algorithms used in the GO range. I thought the reason for having a common engine was to have products that functioned the same.
It appears that the Go 300, 500, 70 and PDA Navigator range all V5.x use generate the same or simlar routes.
The One & GO 910 generate the same routes but are different to those generated by the other TomTom products.

Nothing strange at all. Map data changes, and therefore the factors influencing the calculation change. Sometimes it is sufficient to start a route 100 metres further down the road to get a completely different result. The same happens when a street classification has been changed ever so slightly. _________________ Lutz

Would generally agree but I've used the map data from a ONE on my PDA running Navigator V5 and the routes are different. This clearly indicates there's a difference, and to be honest the map data in question should not have changed for many years, the road in question are not new M1, A1 M25
