Hi
Realise this has been asked many times before but can somebody put my mind at rest. Trawled through the posts and not found out if anybody has been succesful.
I want to view my tomtom software upon a laptop for obvious reasons over screen size. Is this yet possible?
Many posts I looked at said am emulator is needed then reading others they said it does not work.
Please tell me which is correct.
Regards

I don't personally see the point in having a massive screen for satnav, i seen a Corsa with a massive display on the dash and tbh if I was the police I would have pulled him. The bigger the display is the bigger the distraction to driving I think, you might be able to get an emulator for your PC and fake to the program that its on a PDA, but I don’t see the point. _________________ Regards

Steve
Thanks for your views, maybe I should have made it clearer.
My use of tomtom is in a LGV so firstly it will not be seen by police vehicles and secondly space is not an issue.

Ah right, don't you think it would put you off driving looking at a massive screen? Ask alix he is trucker i think he uses a 2210 with a CR100, well that is one of the combos he uses. _________________ Regards

There was pocket pc application that would allow you to stream your PDA applications to PC. It was a little bit like VNC viewer on a PC. However i found that it was jittery and there was some lag (only a fraction but i would guess would be enough to be really annoying with GPS applications). I'll have a scout around and see if i can find it?
