Been reading this forum for a while and decided to take the plunge and buy an i3 but wondered if anyone can tell me if it will work with Windows 98SE, one of the retailers websites only mentioned XP and 2000. I've done a search and couldn't find anything, thanks. |

the i3 will work without a computer. the computer is only needed if you want to add poi's etc etc etc. i suspect it should work as 98se utilises usb...
you could always download the software first from http://www.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00434-00 first and see if it installs and runs on 98se before actually getting the unit?
just had a look, and for system requirements it says win 98, me, 2000 or xp. i suspect by 98 they mean 98se though due to the lcak of support in 98 for usb...
