Think this is what your after, for example i'm near Birmingham, say i want to find a POI in Blackpool you do this:
Where to? > Cities > (Type in blackpool, then select Blackpool, Lancs from the menu) > on the next screen scroll down to "find nearby" then you can select any POI you want in the blackpool area by clicking on "food, hotels and more", click on whatever POI you want and then simply click "start navigating"
Hope that helps?? _________________ Garmin Streetpilot i3,

Hi all newbie here too.Im to having trouble when looking for a poi like mcdonalds and kfc nearby to where i live in birmingham.
Im getting the poi of other locations nearby, but no mcdonalds/kfc even tho they have been there for years?
Tried your way of searching by city then nearby, but the nearest macdonalds is saying nearly 200 mile away?
anymore pointers would be helpfull, have downloaded new poi and version 2.70 software, thanks olly. |
