I have recently come to GPS and downloaded the present system as a trial - I don't regret it a bit.
On a mate's TomTom 300 with TomTom's speed cameras I see that there they have divided the cameras into 30, 40, 50 , 60, and 70 giving each of them their own icon on the screen.
The PocketGPSWorld database however only shows a camera on my TomTom 700 and as such doesn't give such a good warning as to the current speed limit. I assume that mine's working correctly - please tell me if it ain't!
Seeing that it is going to go "paid for" (which I don't condemn) would it be possible that the database can give the various speed limits for the cameras.
Keep up the good work! _________________ Furry Fred

Sorry to be thick
I had transferred the . ov2 and .bmp files from the "ov2 bmpfiles" folder and not from the "speed zones" folder. I now have done it and will have to drive past a friendly camera to test it!
Instructions are not very clear and could be improved
Once you have installed, set up, and used the PocketGPSWorld camera database for a while on your TomTom SatNav system. You may want to share and send in details of cameras yourself. You can do this by using the PocketGPSWorld POI Capture utility:
The PocketGPSWorld POI Capture utility.
You do not need the PocketGPSWorld POI Capture utility on your TomTom SatNav system in order to use the PocketGPSWorld camera database. However if you want to send in camera details then POI Capture makes the process of recording cameras much easier on TomTom Navigator and GO (original, 300, 500, and 700). At the moment POI Capture will not work with TomTom Rider, One, and mobile. This is for a technical reason, which we hope, will soon be rectified by TomTom.
The above guides may look lengthy and complicated when first seen. However if you grab a cup of coffee and read each one thoroughly then they should make sense as they have been written in a step-by-step way, for ease of reading.
