Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

The new files for Release 3.104 are now on the server and can be downloaded from this page or via POIsync.
The details are as follows: -
pocketgps_uk_gatso – 3518 Gatso cameras, 35 new;
208 Truvelo cameras, 15 new identified as TRUVELO:nnn
pocketgps_uk_redlight - 928 cameras, 23 new
pocketgps_uk_mobile - 2472 sites, 181 new
pocketgps_uk_specs - 159 cameras, 46 new
pocketgps_uk_temp - 62 cameras, 14 new
pocketgps_uk_continental - 135 cameras, see readme.txt for further information
New for Release 3.104 is the CSV files formatted for use with Memory-Map and speed zoned SPECS files (csv and ov2).
All of the OV2 files have been created using the TomTom utility MakeOV2 so there is no need for TomTom Mobile users to reformat the files. The release number is in the readme.txt file so check that file after downloading. If the new files have not been downloaded then clear your Internet Explorer cache and try again.
Thanks to all of you that sent in updates, and keep them coming in.
Also thanks to Richard (Oldie) for all of his work in administrating the database.
Unfortunately a few ISPs (e.g. NTL) use Inktomi cache servers, which means that some users of those ISPs will have to wait a while for the cache to be updated or ask someone to email you the latest update. By the way, NTL have configured their Inktomi servers to refresh after a period of between 12 and 24hrs so they will update eventually! However, from August 2005 we have changed the name of the download file to include the month and year of release so as to stop any Proxy and Caching issues that some users have experienced.

Do you have a Garmin GPSR? If you do, Walter Wright has used the PocketGPSWorld camera database and converted it for you. The overlay can be downloaded from here.
Release 3.104 of the PocketGPSWorld camera database was made available and announced on Sunday 30th October 2005, at 20:31:35 GMT, on the home page.

As soon as I hit the post button, I realised I could have worded that better! I wasn't nagging, just trying to ask if there was some techie reason why.

Anyway, what do you mean, "work"?
I thought you lot lived in the lap of luxury now from all those download donations....
Cough, cough, splutter! Not us mere moderators, we do it for free and because we love those little jibes!
Seriously, when I get a chance I’ll do an announcement for 3.114.
