Which is the best Tom Tom?

Hi,

I've just started out as a Taxi Driver and looking for a Tom Tom as I'm a company driver.

I'm really interested in the TT700, I know the new 710 are out soon but I've looked at the specs and I'd prefer the 700. Few questions . . .

1. Is it possible to just quickly tap in a street address, and not use postcode? I.E I go by street and get told something like 10 Rutherford Close, I don't get told the postcodes.

2. Anyone got a TT700? And do you recommend them?

3. What do you think is the best Tom Tom?

I'm looking at about £350 maximum to spend on one.

you can navigate by street address but you must enter a city name first. This can be tricky when cities are close by each other.

The best old TomTom GO is the 500. It has all the features of the 700, minus the limitation of the built in hard disk.
