In August purchased a 510 in Halfords and it plugged it in the car and it did exactly what it said on the box PLUG AND GO but from then on things went down hill Crying or Very sad Could never get the thing to work properly would wait in the car outside the house upto 20 minutes with the screen showing No NMEA data so would give up eventually took 510 back to Halfords who no longer sell the 510 so agreed with the manager i would pay the extra to upgrade to the 520 iam now having the same problem with the 520 just cannot get a fix Crying or Very sad Can anybody help me what am i doing wrong ???
I have read somewhere that others are having the same problems but surely if its plug and go thats what it should be not Plug and Wait for ages.

Does your car have a heated front windscreen?

Although my Mondeo has a heated windscreen it doesn't cause me any problems but I gather that the windscreens on some cars do block the GPS signals.

If this is the case you may need to buy an external antenna.

No checked that as it doesnt even work in any of my other vehicles or even if i sit in the garden and try and get a fix on the sats Crying or Very sad
