I have just bought a PDA GPS system called Micromaxx from kwiksave £249.99. I beleive this to be a Medion.
Is it possible to change the nav software and use tom tom instead. Also I dont think it has the speed cameras on it, in fact i cannot see any reference to it. Can this be added??
Sorry for waht may seem silly questiond but I havent a clue where these things are concerned.
Many thanks
Simon
PS. where is the tomtom software available from? |

The unit is a re-badged Mitac Mio 168, and yes you can use TomTom 3 or 5 (plus most other gps software) on it and also use the Safety Cameras poi files from this web site.
If you click the link at the bottom of my post, then click the Specs page you can see for yourself that this was also released as a Medion MD95000 as well, I use TomTom 5 on a Mio 168 and it works great. |

TomTom as well as all other gps software has to be purchased from a dealer or via TomTom's own web site if that's your choice of brand, all software will be supplied on DVD's or CD's depending on the GPS software you choose and the manufacturer.
There are many dealers web sites around this forum post you could try. |
