garmin streetpilot i3

After having problems with tomtom go 500 and out of date maps I wonder if anyone has a new i3 and are maps more up to date than tomtom. Also can the garmin i3 accept safety camera database and possibly additional voices ?

The problem is, even if the Navteq maps are a newer version, it doesnt mean the map has been updated in your area! You may want to check with Navteq.com, before you look at buying a new device.

thanks for info. I've read the posts under streetpilot and will think again before buying. looks like the maps are still out of date.
