Can anyone shed any light into this.
I was in Brighton and wanted to find a restaurant, selected restaurants in the Tomtom POI and it froze and the Tomtom software shut down!

It is possible that the POI file is corrupt. Yesterday, A friend had the petrol stations missing and crashed when 'navigating to' one.
Fortunately he had a backup copy and replaced the file with the original one. Bingo - it worked. I don't know how it got corrupted, but recopying it fixed the problem.
