TomTom 5 and Rikaline Bluetooth

I am having problems connecting my iPAQ 1940 with TomTom 5 loaded to my Rikaline Bluetooth GPS?
We had the same thing with TT3 and had to load a patch GPS 3.07 to get good comms are we back to the same problems again?

Not sure if this is your problem but on my Ipaq 3970 I had to install my bp gps as a wired gps and then select the bluetooth port (com 5) .I know it sounds weird but when I selected an other bt it wouldnt connect at all

Thanks you are correct, set up as a wired GPS and all is well - typical!
