|
|
Hello,
I'm new to this forum and have tried to search through for my question and found nothing.
Okay here is the situation, I have a Siemens SX66(HTC Blue Angel), which has a built in qwerty keyboard. When I try and search for an address the softkeyboard in tomtom does not appear. Since I have a small slideout keyboard it is very difficult to type in the street name will in the car. Is there some kind a Reg Hack or setting that I can not find to make it appear even in it detects an external keyboard?
Thank you for any help you can give me!!

Hi I also have problem with the softkeyboard (toggle) disappeared. However I don't have a pda phone. I have an Asus a730 with a bluetooth keyboard. I haven't tried uninstalling the keyboard driver though.
Hope someone can help. Thanks. |

From what I have read, if you uninstall the driver your problem will be solved. I do not have the ability to uninstall my driver ciz it is built in device..

i can not find the post on xda developers. the funny thing is my old tomtom worked fine. (v 2.34). i'm going to try loading the tomtom 3 version that was said to work with 2004 usa maps and see if that helps. i've already tried changing the gps driver (to 2.06). that didn't help. i'll report my results later. |

there is a part of the tomtom 2004 review where the reviewer said they used a modified version of 3.07 that was able to read the 2004 maps. thats where i got the idea to try. i couldn't get past the activation to see if it would work though. i'm figuring (hoping) there has be a way to fix it because 2.24 and 2.34 didn't have this problem on my phone. the problem seems to be specific to the 2004 version. |

Any solution? I am stuck. I can't even use my built-in keyboard on my IIs cause when I want to enter the street number the function key displayed on the screen as some weird sign and won't allow to find no steet number.
If someone have a solution please post it here. Thank you! |
