It's a good unit but you will be stuck with Navigon's software. You cannot install TomTom on it as the unit runs WinCE.Net and for a number of reasons TomTom will not run on this platform. _________________ Darren Griffin

Thank you very much Darren.
Is the software as good as tom tom?
If I understand well, this unit can be made to show a taskbar and be used to play music etc.
Again thanks very much and sorry to be such a pain.

It is a good solution, Navigon is very popular on the continent and yes you can 'hack' it to gain access to the WinCE desktop very easily.
However I personally prefer Navman's SmartST or TomTom Navigator. At the end of the day the decision as they say is yours!
