USA cigatette lighter adapter

Hi,
I'm off to the USA in June, hopefully with my Mio 168 & TT3. Can anyone confirm that the UK cigarette lighter adapter will work in USA hire cars, or do I need to buy a different one?

The cigarette lighter adapter will work in the US cars, too. No worries.

usa cars use the same lighetr connection as anny other car in the world

I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum that although the cigarette lighters in the US all work the same, some of the larger type vehicles use a different voltage than our 12v ?

Not in standard cars. You probably read about RVs or trucks - those may have 24V circuits, but it's not too common.
