Is it Worth Buying an External Antenna for SysOnChip GPS CF

Is it worth buying an external antenna for my SysOnChip GPS CF Plus II?

Did you notice any improvements?

Do you use the external antenna fully fixed outside the car or on your dashboard?

The reason I am asking you that, is that I keep my PDA installed on my car on the right hand side, next to the windscreen Post (British Car Model) using a suction cradle and sometimes when I move the unit to middle of the windscreen, I get better satellite lock, but for me, it is much easier as I am a right-handled person to operate the unit (not while I am driving!) on the right hand side of the steering wheel.

On the left hand, it feels a bit jerky.

I was thinking of fixing the antenna externally on my car, but God knows where?

Answering my own question: Yes it worth.

I bought the external antenna today, and i went out to test it out, i was amazed by the amount the reception got better, blue bars aver where, great.
