|
|
Hi All,
For anybody using the 95000 I have a web site dedicated to setting up the Safety Camera data that is available from this web site.
Also included on the web site are sound files and screen icons that can be used with other systems as well.
Just click the link at the bottom. |

To be quite honest, I do not know.
You will need a different version of POI-Warner, you can use the link on my web site to go to the POI-Warner web site, BUT, you will need to select the correct version for TomTom software on the menu across the top of there page. |

For TomTom3 just use the free CheckPOInt available in our downloads area and the instructions on the SafetyCamera POI download page. _________________ Darren Griffin |

When I read 'Medion 95000,' can I assume that the 'MIO 168' is included in the details and downloads.? Being a sort of clone of the 95000? _________________ An ex-X9 rider. Now Gilera Nexus 250ie. Call me 'humph.' |

Hello Humph,
Depends on what gps software you are using;
If Navigon 4 then you can follow the web site instructions, BUT, make sure you get the correct version of POI-Warner for your Navigon version, as the Medion version is different.
If TomTom 3 then you need to follow the instructions on the following link:
Use CheckPoint v 2.0.2 it's better than v3.

If not either of the above then I don't know, you will need to ask in the relevant forum section for your gps software. |

No, the instructsions are relevant only for Medion branded versions of the Navigon software and Navigon itself. If your Mio168 is running alternative software then refer to the instrcustions for that software. Remember the guide is software not hardware specific. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for the quick response.
I haven't bought a navigation system yet because I want to get used to using a PDA. I had not even held one until my MIO 168 arrived from easydevices. Simply put, I am learning to walk before I can run. The issue over who produces which PDA and what name it is given is one I am begining to learn about.
In future, I'll reserve my queries for the MIO 168 forum, where I can get specific information. _________________ An ex-X9 rider. Now Gilera Nexus 250ie. Call me 'humph.' |
