I have a question about the activation code(s??) from the tomtomcode site.
I've already installed the MRE maps as well as the UK on a new 512mb SD card. It asked for the activation code when I opened up the UK maps and it was easy enough to go to the code site, input the serial number etc to obtain the code.
I haven't been to europe yet but will be in one weeks time, so...
Do I need an activation code for these maps too? or will the code I've put into activate the UK maps be sufficient?
Also I've bought another 512mb SD card and purchased the full maps of europe. This will also need another activation code? will the last one that I put into the first SD card work?
Sorry if this seems a bit gobblegook, it makes sense to me!!!
Thanks folks |

I take it that you have bought your GO with UK mapping, and then have bought Maps of Western Europe seperatley.
Each of these will need to be activated. You can do this without going to Europe, simply by switching to one of the European maps. Once activated for one European map it should be for all maps. Make sure you do this before you go otherwise you will need to find an internet terminal when you get there.
You will be able to use the same activation codes for both SD cards. Make sure that you install the GO Navigator software to your new card. _________________ Mike Barrett |

The activation code for the maps of Europe is hidden under the 4th cd in the box. Took me ages to find it, as i was only installing maps from CD1 at the time. |

SGR1913,
Was that the activation code or the product code?
Normally you need a product code to go online to get the activation code from www.ttcode.com . _________________ Mike Barrett |
