OK folks, a user on this forum has been doing some great work adding to some of the postcodes that are missing, and has recompiled the files in to a slightly different filing system that some may find easier to use (i.e. may be more intuitive for finding which area a code is in rather than relying on your own dodgy geography )
Add to this the fact that I could really do with adding a few better instructions to my page and we get to the plan to update the page and offer the new files in both formats. Obviously with festivities imminent this may or may not happen over the holiday but as soon as it does I'll post back here and let you know.

Good work - credit to you. Look forward to the new files.
Ive added these codes to the files Tim made and sorted the post codes on the first two digits. Then created 10 new files which are available here www.kappa.f2s.com/ttg/.
Hope you dont mind me creating these files tim:)
If anyone one wants to try them out and let me know if they work that would be cool as i still dont have my go yet:)

RedLeon,
I've been collecting missing data for Aberdeen area (via streetmap.co.uk) and find it very slow going. You seem to have developed a faster routine?
There is no fast way. Streetmap is the best way, unless you can afford the PAF from the Post Office. I can usually do from 300-400 a day!! Given no interuptions.
I am at the moment half way through compiling the AB Post Code and am helping Timmyo to compile the files in a different manner.
