|
I sometimes just want to search for a town but not the street and number as well - can I do this? I get around this by manually scrolling the map and using the curser to set a location but it is time consuming.
Also, I find the zoom a bit irritating. I would like to view the route map further zoomed out than the default, but when I zoom out it zooms back in again shortly afterwards - can I stop it zooming back in?
Thanks

Just enter the town name again when it asks for a street. You should see the town name listed with a blue building icon by it. Navigating to this point usually takes you right to the centre of the town. |

Thanks very much for that info Zuke - excellent!
Now, if the zoom would stay where I want it, I would consider TomTom Go absolutely perfect for my needs! |

My zoom stays where I set it.
I agree it's bit fiddly 'cos it changes so rapidly.
Are you sure you're not dragging your finger slightly as you 'lift off' ? |

I just set the zoom level and after about 10 seconds the display zooms back to the default level.
Damm annoying when it does that! |
