Hi all this is my first post on pocketgps but I have been reading topics for some weeks now.
I have a Dell Axim X5 with Haicoms Hi-204E GPS Receiver+mount.
I have just upgraded from 3.0.16 to 3.0.65 in the hope that the problems mentioned on pocketgps would have been resolved but things just seem to have gone worse.
Destinator is now complaining I don't have enough memory to run and seems to be more unstable.
My position is now reported wrong e.g was on M6 but was shown on A6 (which runs parallel) this caused Destinator to recalculate every few mins.
I am also recieving Low Signal messages even though the satalite status page shows 8 satalites with good signals.
I installed over the top of my old version is this the likely cause of the problems ???
Also what problems does 3.0.65 fix as the Destinator website seems less than helpfuk.
Sorry for the long post.

That version is new me - I am only up to 3.0.54 - but that still has the roundabout (says wrong exit and wrong distance).
I am sure Powerloc will tell what that version contains. |

There is a patch on Destinator website for registered users which when downloaded and installed upgrades to 3.0.65 later version than 54, doesn't seem any obvious changes except flashing sats don't flash anymore on GPS status screen. Haven't detected any routing changes but I think the three miles, when its really two, is also fixed but can't be certain.
There are also some new voice files, sound the same but smaller size, I had corruption onn some and copying the new ones over worked. |

Looks like unregistered version. I heard about it but never seen and don't know what to do. |

Hi guy's
thanks for your replies, finally got it working after removing some games to free some memory.
Much happier with it now seems to work a lot better.
