Managed to get it to show the speed camera icons which is great but no sound and no red light icons or sounds. Has anyone else had any luck with it? |

I think we need to upgrade to version 3.0.75 in order to allow imports of POIs - and likewise that version has a feature that alerts you nearby selected POIs - which I case is ideal for this sort of thing. |

I think its not a good idea to try and list all the speed cameras, may eventually do it, but I gave up and rebooted, think you should just select the alert favourites.
Haven't been out with it yet, was waiting to load 3.075 and new maps (see other thread)
D3 slow to load up first time, presumably a lot of cameras !
Does the alert work and is it timely ? Will we be able to get updates periodically ? |

It works, a noise happens when near a speed camera, and I have now found how to set alerts, I have opted for 400 yds single alert but you can change from 50 to 1000 and also have two stage alerts.
Seems quite accurate ie alram and yellow boxs by roadside match |

Is it only slow to load the very first time you run D3 after importing the cameras, or everytime you run D3? It's quite slow already on my 5450. |

It was very slow first time, but is I think slower than before each time but not as slow as first time...I think that makes sense |

Interesting, I also seem to be having more lock ups and failure to load since upgrading and loading speed cameras, as I did both, its difficult to tell which if any is to blame. It used to be very bad when I had a Loox, with IPAQ 2210 very stable on 3.065, now somewhat worse, I might try unloading cameras and see if it makes a difference, also seem to have low battery problems, even switched off it flattens overnight, maybe something is still ticking away in the background, any suggestions welcomed |

Taken off cameras, reinstaled D3, seems to solve most of problems, still sometimes locks uop, but trick seems to be always shut D3 down and switch off, trying to get it back after suspend leads to more lock ups at splash screen, never mind other bits worth the upgrade |

Worked first time on Acer N30 but the noise and alerts happen when you are just about on top of camera Is it possible you could let us know how to change the alert settings |

There are settings in auto alert which allow you to change from memory, I've still not put mine back, they allow 100 yards or metres intervals |
