Sorry if this has been covered else where but I have used CM3 to download the weekly camera update and get 'Error extracting 'pocketgps_uk pmobile.csv' from 'pgps-speed-cams-uk.zip'
After accepting it repeats the above for reading of the file.
Is there a problem with the zip or is it just missing?

ASH10,
Are you aware of the option that MaFt has introduced to select or ignore pMobile warning on the download page?
Both last week and this week, using Camera Manager v3.51 beta the pMobile file inside the zipped file is not present, and Camera Manager is complaining that Error extracting 'pocketgps_uk_pmobile.csv' from 'pgpsw-speed-cams-uk.zip'. Obviously I could disable the option to include the pMobile data, but that is not what I wish.
When I look at the download page under "To Download the Same Again:
" it displays
You last downloaded...
CameraManager3 [ UK - Single file with all cameras - pMobiles: No]
(9.065 - 29 Jun 11)
I have the tick set on the download page, but as you can see above pMobile:No is what occurs.
When I look for an option for the Single UK file I cannot see which option I should manually download in order to select the pMobile file. There does not appear to be an option to select CameraManager3 as a "SatNav" system
I think you may need to include the pMobile files by default for the download, and leave the existing option to include or exclude the pMobiles as already exists in your program.
I have posted a message under the topic "To 'p' or not to 'p'?" for MaFt but there has been no response from him.
Can I ask that the two of you discuss this and come to a suitable resolution.

Update on the pMobile data missing.
I confirm that MaFt has fixed the pMobile issue file for Camera Manager download.

I've just forced a new download to test the pmobile issue. The include unconfimed box is now checked. I get an error message telling me that CM is unable to open the pmobile.csv file.
I find that once CM has automatically downloaded the new databases any "forced" downloads seem to encounter an error opening pgpsworld zip file and error opening output.csv for reading _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

The constant 'bonging' from the Zumo 660 as we pass the many and varied camera sites we have is this country is resulting in me subconsciously tuning them out which is not a good thing.
Is there any way I can have a separate sound for mobile and fixed locations?
I'm not interested in having separate sounds for each speed limit, I just want a different noise for fixed and mobile locations.
(I'm asking in the Camera Manager thread as having Camera Manager set this up seems to me to be the easiest way to do it...if it's possible)
Thanks.

Trying to get the beta to run on my new iMac which is using parallels to run in windows 7 64bit mode.
All is okay apart from I get the following error in POILoader 2.6.1 unable to convert c:\Garmin POI/PocketGPS_SC_Gatson.wav to the proper format.
I know I have something wrong and I am trying to do a few changes.
Windows 7 64bit I copied the sox.exe into the c:\Program Files(x86)\Garmin folder, also created a C:\Garmin folder from the and copied over the old information from my windows 7 32bit machine.
I installed the latest beta version which handles voices and get the same error - Vocab has been copied to the C:\Garmin POI directory.
POI's are loading just appears an issue with the sound files.
Any clues? |

That's likely the absence of the SOX.exe in the correct place (where the POI Loader.exe is). _________________ DashCam:

Hi - I just wondered if you had made any further changes to CM 3.51. There was a "fix" you were going to work on (22nd June) so thought I'd ask if you had a new version for release and whether you were able to include my suggestion for the extra line of info in the directories/update page?
Cheers _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

I run this under parallels with windows 7 64bit and it works. Not quite what you want but it is a solution.
Given that Garmin provide all the software to get a mac to talk with the device we are a lot closer. Not sure what is involved in converting the smart bit but would love to use it if it becomes available. |
