This is a bit offtopic, but i hope someone could help me.

I bought a BT77 unit with Nemerix chipset in December and at first it worked fine without any problems. Now just recently it doesn't find any satellites anymore. I think i forgot to turn it off and the battery went empty. I recharged the battery but yet still it doesn't work. The red led is not flashing and according to tomtom mobile 5 no GPS signal can be found. If i attach the external MMCX antenna, the red led starts to flash and everything works just fine. I just did a factory reset with the NCTLite 1.05 software but hasn't tried it yet after that. Any more ideas if that doesn't help? I haven't dropped it, can it break just like that? Sounds a bit weird if it can.

Thanks! I'm new here and i already like this forum!

There was an article around here some time earlier that the patch antenna circuitry is not properly protected against voltage spikes. Sounds like this happened to your receiver too. There's not much you can do about that unfortunately.
