Bosch have confirmed my thought that the traffic registration didn't complete properly but they're giving me regular updates while they fix it (and I won't be invoiced until it's working properly). If you have an iphone you should really download the free Inrix traffic app to see how good their traffic data is.

Meanwhile TomTom have asked me to call their support number to discuss my concerns. Too late.
