Personally i have tried all the new updates since 2.7 and always go back to 2.7 because of the exact same behaviour you described.

Look at the following -

Although this covers version 3.2 i and many others had the same problems with 3.1 too...

With version 2.7 have you found the map has stopped freezing?

I have read the posts on the new software problems and I have the same problem. In 3D map mode the map keeps freezing, but the roads and all other info keeps updating fine.

Has going back to 2.7 helped and what hae Garmin said?

I don't know how they can say they are not aware of any problem.

If I unload all the POI's it all workd perfectly. Add any POI's and suddenly it all goes t!ts up!!!!!

I have sent off an e-mail to them, and will await there response.

Just updated (of that is the word!) to V2.7 and will see if that helps.

I know this might sound stupid, but all my POI's are on the internal memory of my i3. I have ordered a card reader and should get this tomorrow. Now the problem with the hang ups seems to be the memory of the i3 struggling to cope. My hope is to move all my POI's to the T/F Card to see if easing the internal memory helps.

Don't know if anyone has tried that and can tell me it does feck all to help?
