As long as the POI file is in the ov2 file format and is used in conjunction with a like named .bmp file (22x22 pixel size) the TomTom device will use the data.
There are loads of different POI formats to support the different sat nav manufacturers, but you can use poiedit or a number of other utilities to convert between the different data file types. Mike

No probs mike, take it there will be a sticky within the site advising me on how I actually load this poi file onto my tt5 nav software ??
