I am thinking of buying a Peugeot 3008 with built in Sat Nav (RT6). so far I have not been able to find out the software it uses. I have established that the maps are Navteq.

Can any body tell me please what version of PGPSW speed cameras can work with this system?
TIA
JohnH

Hi,
unfortunately there is no support here for the RT6, Citroen eMyway system that is made by Magnetti Marelli. Unlike Igo8 it is impossible to add POi's instantly etc. Maps updates for my Citroen are 149€ and monthly Speedcam updates are 7€ PCM.
A reputed Citroen site states that Citroen have agreed to free updates Under the 2 year warranty but I have not yet tried that route. There is more information available on GPSUndergound.
Good luck,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info. I suspected as much that it was a No No as far as PGPSAW was concerned.

Pity, because although a portable device would be cheaper (Peugeot charge £735 for the Connect Sat Nav Shocked A built in is more convenient and doubtless the signal is better/morereliable. If Peugeot/Citroen are like Renault then the windscreen will be the heat resistant type ( whatever the tech term is) which interferes with the signal.

So I presume I would need to find a PND that has provision for an external aerial.

Anyway thanks again - more to think about and consider.

Regards
john.
