|

I have TT Nav 6 on an iPaq 2210, which is all good.
However, I want to disable to flashing red speed warning that appears when, for example, I "overtake" on the motorway & hit 75 mph [or a whisker above].
In the sunshine & with sunglasses on I cannot read the display due to both the flashing & the red numbers.
So, can I disable this facility, or can I change the colour to one that is more readily readable?
Thanks in advance

Thanks

Even if you stay below the rated legal speed of the road I would bet it still turns red from time to time and flashes - not all the roads have the correct speed data within the map, the M6 North LakeDistict is rated at 30MPH for miles so you get the red flashing speed on the unit at anything above 33MPH, at 70 it flashes all the time. I seen this elsewhere in the country as well - Mike |

Can you confirm that TTN 6 works with no problems on an iPAQ 2210 as that gear is not included in the compatability list on the TomTom site. _________________ Charlie Gregory

Not had any problems with TTNav6 on my iPaq 2210 at all.
In fact I think it works better than TTNav5
Occasionally the 1st syllable of a word seems to get clipped, but apart from that it's fine.
Thx

My solution when I opted to upgrade from the old tomtom wired to bluetooth was to buy a HUDGPS - google for it, Polaris was the make, can get them on ebay.
Gives a head-up display of speed and direction on the windscreen - a bit faint in bright sun, but quite useable.
