Hi I have my TTG which has I think a 128 Memory card but I have filled it with POI now I need more space, so I got a 256 MB Kingston SD card, but which files do I need to copy from the old card to the new card so TTG will still work ???? _________________ You cannot predict life, only cope with it! |

you need to copy all files - do a complete backup and restore of the card. Make sure your PC does not hide any system files from view _________________ Lutz

Also make sure that you preserve the directory (folder) structure. Some files need to be in the root directory, and some in Great-Britain-Maps etc.
If you need to save space, you can delete all the voices you don't need. I've never done this - but I believe there's a function to do this if you run the program on the CD when TTG is connected to a USB port on your computer. [You can probably delete them just using File Manager, but you'd need to know the relationship between voice and filename to do that]. |

Thanks for the help guys. Done a upgrade now by just copy and paste to folder on PC and then back to new sd card. Loads of space now. Next problem is where if anywhere can I get a map of spain as I am off on hols next month and a map of spain on the TTG would come in very handy??? _________________ You cannot predict life, only cope with it! |

You will also get the funktion if you download alternative voices from TomTom.com. Part of the installation setup for alt. voice.
But if TT GO have the same as HP NavPack you can delete voices directly from the menu in GO where you select voices... _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |
