I need to navigate to this point:-

Latitude 54deg21'10"
Longitude -2deg54'51"

My navman icn510 doesnt have the particular road, I got the co-ordites from Autoroute 2005

Is there any way of typing this in..? Can anyone help.

Cheers,
Mark

Are you looking tor the Linthwaite House Hotel, perchance? Unfortunately V3 doesn't provide the function to navigate to coordinates. The road is on V3 maps, but it has no name, so that method irsn't available either. However, if you look at Autoroute 2005, you can see that on the North side of the B5284 from the un-named road is Windy Hall Road. If you put that into the address lookup, using the postcode LA23 3 then use the eyeball to view the destination, you should be able to select the place you actually want to go to without any difficulty.

For a street navigation devices, I can see why entering map coordinates wouldn't be a popular function. Since all of the information to do so is already available on the device, I would hope for that capability, especially because of the dismal job that Navman has done with the address database. Beside, I will also be able to use this device to do geocaching.
