Any chance of Navman or a 3rd party making a small IR remote for the iCN 510? |

According to the website, they will be available from Navman's soon to be open webstore. Revisit that site on the 22nd and see if it is open. _________________ Tim |

I currently have a remote in review and it works quite well. It's a bit tacky like some of those cheap membrane remotes you get on a portable DVD player where it's wafer thin, but it does the job quite nicely. |

I know it's not a lot of money, but is there amy value in getting one of these ? Seems like a good idea, bus does it increase the functionality, or is it just another gadget ??

Aren't they all just gadgets ?
It really depends. If you want it low down on the windscreen and far away from you, then I would say the remote is essential. |

Just got one. Seems fair quality to me. Just been out for one drive, needs to be aimed quite straight at the 510 to work reliabiliy. |
